- dark plain background with luminous colours - in order to stand out to customers who are wanting to purchase a digi pack.
- the fact it is a '40th anniversary' edition means it gives more variety of music
- different logo's show time period
- gives context to DVD by describing Top of the Pops history
- time line of songs from each year on the back of the box starting from 1964 - 2004
- pictures of different artists

- description of what kinds of songs are on the disc above the song list

In each digi pack we were given/chose, the same colours and visuals were similar to the ones used on the package. For example, on the Top Of The Pops package, a lot of block colours are shown and the logo's which have been used and changed over the years appeared in each song on the disc.
